Dr. Ken Robinson
Kenneth D. Robinson, Ed.D., is one of the most respected teachers and lecturers on cognitive-behavioral treatment and correctional counseling. Robinson, President of Correctional Counseling, Inc., and Executive Editor of Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment Review, has published and presented numerous professional articles in the areas of psychopharmacology and mental health services and is co-developer of MRT-Moral Reconation Therapy®. He is a familiar speaker at both national and international symposiums and conferences, including the National Judicial College, National Association of Drug Court Professionals, and American Probation and Parole Association among other organizations. He has also been asked to testify before legislative bodies on the efficacy and value of cognitive-behavioral treatment programs that can reduce recidivism, enhance public safety and lower costly incarceration expenses. Dr. Robinson’s extensive work in mental health and corrections provide a unique combination of insight and expertise. While Director of Clinical Services for Midtown Mental Health Center in Memphis, Tenn., he established the first Crisis Stabilization Unit for the city and was featured in Memphis Magazine’s article “The Crisis in Mental Health Care” in January 1987. He is also no stranger to the rigorous demands of working with offenders behind the bars, having worked in mental health services for the Shelby County Correction Center for 12 years, as well as the State Regional Prison in Memphis, before founding Correctional Counseling, Inc. He is currently a faculty member of the National Judicial College and has served as a consultant with the U.S. Bureau of Justice, the National Association of Drug Court Professionals, and the National Institute of Corrections. Dr. Robinson also has extensive experience with therapeutic programs in correctional settings. Professional colleagues describe Dr. Robinson as determined to design and implement the most effective programs to help those individuals desiring and willing to change their lives. Dr. Robinson received his Doctor of Education degree in educational psychology and counseling and his Master of Science degree in psychology from Memphis State University. |

Dr. MJ Wegmann - President, Director & Visionary
Dr. Wegamnn is the founder and CEO of Purpose Maker LLC and President, Director & Visionary of Social Responsibility Inc 501c3. He is also the co-founder of the Veteran fishing initiative Reel Liberty. Dr. Wegmann was influential in creating and implementing a nationwide suicide prevention network. The peer-to-peer network reached over 6000 people in a dark place in the first year operation. Dr. Wegmann is a frequent speaker on human physiology, trauma, leadership and life purpose and creator of the T.I.P Method™. Dr. Wegmann is a certified Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) Facilitator and trainer, and has had the distinct honor of studying, learning and mentoring under one of the most respected thinkers in Moral Psychology; Dr. Ken Robinson. |
